FUNK Fashion Show: Technology, Fashion and Art – Infinite Bloom

The fashion show “Technology, Fashion and Art – Infinite Bloom”, an original project by Milena Đukanović, PhD, will take place on November 1 at 8 p.m. at the University of Montenegro campus, as part of the Festival of Arts, Science and Culture – FUNK 2025, within the FUNK Fashion program.

This event also marks the final program of the festival, which throughout October has featured more than 30 different events in the fields of art, science, and culture.

Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the show will be held in collaboration with the NGO Diši, as a gesture of support. The show will be opened by Branka Otašević, actress of the Montenegrin National Theatre.

Prof. Đukanović has also provided a platform for young talents in 3D printing in Montenegro — the brands Green Lining MNE by Aleksandra Simoni and 3Domika MNE by Vasilisa Fedotova — who will donate their 3D-printed accessories to oncology patients.

Prof. Đukanović’s project represents a unique fusion of technology, fashion, and art, inspired by Japanese culture, the visual language of the renowned artist Yayoi Kusama, and themes featured at this year’s EXPO in Japan, where Montenegro is also participating successfully.

The collection features vibrant forms, geometric patterns, and Kusama’s signature polka-dot motifs, presented through an innovative approach that combines 3D printing techniques and sustainable materials. The show symbolizes the continuous blossoming of creativity (“infinite bloom”) and serves as a bridge between modern technology and traditional aesthetics, conveying a message of a global connection through art and design.
