The Historical Institute and the Employment Agency of Montenegro Organized a Panel: „Architecture at Your Fingertips – Heritage That Connects the Senses”

The Historical Institute of Montenegro and the Library for the Blind of Montenegro, as part of the "European Heritage Days 2025" program, organized a one-day interactive and educational workshop titled "Architecture at Your Fingertips: Heritage That Connects the Senses," at the Historical Institute’s hall. The event "Architecture at Your Fingertips – Heritage That Connects the Senses" was designed as an interactive educational gathering that brought together professionals from the field of architecture, students, visually impaired individuals, as well as interested citizens.

The speakers at the event included Dr. Jelisaveta Blagojević from the Historical Institute of Montenegro, Assistant Professor Dr. Nevena Mašanović, a professor at the Faculty of Architecture in Podgorica, and Ivana Ivanović, a fifth-year student at the same faculty. The event was also greeted by Dr. Radenko Šćekić, Director of the Historical Institute of Montenegro, and Mr. Božidar Denda, Director of the Library for the Blind of Montenegro.

Through discussions, presentations, and a tactile exhibition of 3D printed models of significant Montenegrin buildings, the audience had the opportunity to experience architecture by touch, listen to the history through expert talks, and feel the space through multiple senses. Directors Šćekić and Denda expressed mutual satisfaction with the cooperation between the Historical Institute and the Library for the Blind, as well as the projects they have been working on since the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation.
