Applications must be submitted to the Universitys organizational units on Monday and Tuesday, September 29 and 30, 2025, by 2:00 p.m. The required documentation includes a certified copy of a Master’s or Magister diploma in the relevant field of science or arts, or an academic diploma of a regulated profession with at least 300 ECTS credits; a transcript of records from the Master’s or Magister program; a birth certificate; and proof of active knowledge of one world language at the B2 level.

Eligible candidates are those who have obtained a Master’s/Magister diploma in the relevant field of science or arts, or an academic diploma of a regulated profession, after completing at least 300 ECTS credits.

Doctoral studies last three years (six semesters), totaling 180 ECTS credits. Candidates are required to submit their application along with evidence of meeting the admission requirements. Active knowledge of one world language at the B2 level, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), is mandatory for enrollment.

Foreign nationals may apply under the same conditions as Montenegrin citizens, with the obligatory recognition of the foreign diploma from the previously completed level of study. Enrollment is conducted on a competitive basis, according to the average grade from the previous level of study. Candidates with the same average grade have equal rights to admission. A candidate who fails to enroll within the designated period forfeits their right, and their place will be taken by the next qualified candidate on the ranking list.

The ranking process is carried out by the Doctoral Studies Committee at the relevant organizational units.

The enrollment of candidates will be completed by Friday, October 3, 2025.

NOTE:

Candidates who completed previous levels of study in the fields of natural and technical sciences are eligible to apply for the Sustainable Development study program. The ranking procedure is carried out by the Doctoral Studies Committee at the University’s organizational units.
If academic documents are in a foreign language, a certified translation by a court-sworn translator must be submitted.
